THE ASK: Help Samsung engage youth audiences through a new Launching People series that gave people the opportunity to turn their dreams into a reality and win the chance to team up with renowned mentors from the world of entertainment and music including Idris Elba and Paloma Faith.
THE ANSWER: We were responsible for all aspects of the programme’s commissioning, talent casting and all production. Production included all social and online content to drive both competition entries and get people excited about watching the series. Videos included a series manifesto about the competition, as well as individual promo videos from each of the mentors. The promotional content was filmed with the talent in their natural environments - a music studio, photography studio, film studio and a restaurant. Videos ranged from 1-4 minutes long and were made for YouTube, Facebook and Twitter and were launched on the influencers social channels as well as Samsung’s.
THE IMPACT: 2.4 million people watched our videos from the mentors online and 3.7 million people liked and shared our Facebook content.
