THE ASK: To show off the P9’s impressive selfie camera and unique beauty mode, Huawei held a monster beauty pageant in search of the most glam (or not so glam) monsters. Users were asked to share selfies of their Halloween costume and make up for a chance to win a phone and our job was to promote the competition.
THE ANSWER: We made a social film featuring a cast of beautifully gruesome monster types and we shot it entirely on the Huawei P9 itself.
THE RESULTS: The film received over 500,000 hits within 24 hrs and was Huawei’s most viewed Facebook film to date.
